With all the excitement of the Olympics and Paralympics over the summer, it seems to have taken me quite a while to get round to sorting out some images from a fantastic holiday in Crete way back in July. We stayed at the Porto Elounda hotel http://www.portoelounda.com/index.php and found the welcome, staff, hotel spa and food to be exceptional. This was my first time on Crete and I was very impressed - great scenery, food and lots of quiet places to visit. Other highlights included losing my wallet which was subsequently found and returned to the hotel with all cash and cards intact and the acquaplus water park which was just great fun!
