Sailing with the Skandia GBR Sailing Team
After avoiding the Strongow laden and the hotpants and wellies wearing groups off to the Isle of Wight festival, my sister and I spent the day with the Skandia GBR Sailing Team and Musto.
After a 9am briefing in the Cowes Yacht Haven, we hit the water under the expert instruction of our skipper for day, Nick Thompson. In constantly shifting conditions and armed only with a pocket camera wrapped in a £15.99 plastic waterproof case from Amazon (did you spot the image quality caveats???), I was able to take a few shots but once out on the water, only when the wind dropped - there was too much to do otherwise, including hanging on!
