Turkey took on China followed by Serbia versus South Korea in the Women's Preliminaries. Incredibly athletic and at times downright vicious! China and south Korea both won their matches 3-1.

We arrived early which was just as well as security took some time whilst they decided whether my lens (which was 22cm on its own and 28cm when on the camera) was allowed inside - fortunately I had printed out the regulations which stipulated 30cm and had also brought a ruler, just in case!!
