Hours and hours and hours and hours on the London 2012 ticket website finally came good with some last minute tickets for the athletics on Tuesday evening at the Olympic Stadium and we even got to see a Team GB medal! 

The session included the Women's 100m Hurdles Semifinals and Final, Men's 800m Semifinals, Women's 200m Semifinals and the Men's 1500m Final and Robbie Grabarz winning bronze for Team GB in the Men's High Jump. Couldn't see anything of the Men's Discus or Women's Long Jump Qualification but highlights included everyone in the crowd being confused by the High Jump and not realising Grabarz had won a medal, the riding skills of the cameraman on the segway, the two Italian supporters next to me who spent more time out of the stadium smoking than watching the action, no Paul McCartney songs and German discus gold medalist Robert Harting ripping his shirt off 'Hulk' style and then running the 100m hurdles in celebration of his gold medal.
