Not since the days of the very cheap and very cheerful University Ski Club trips to the Dolomites by return coach have I been skiing in Italy but what a treat it proved to be. The skiing, the snow and the weather were perfect. The restaurants were fantastic and with great value wines and friendly locals. The only gripe was not all the mountain watering holes stocked Grand Marnier which is the tipple of choice of the adults in our group! In the absence of a DSLR, all image taken on either my fantastic Fuji X-E1 or pocket-friendly and very capable Canon PowerShot S100.
